A ten-foot sectional normally arrives on a freight truck, with a four-hour window, a delivery fee, and two strangers in your hallway.

This one arrives as two parcels, left at your door. The same bubble silhouette as the rest of the range, one hundred and eighteen inches of it, with the chaise on whichever side your room actually has space for.

  • 118 inches, and a chaise. Ten feet of seating along the wall and a 67-inch chaise off the end. It seats five upright and sleeps one properly, which is the whole argument for a corner sofa over a longer straight one.
  • Chaise left or chaise right. Left and right are as you look at the sofa from the middle of the room. Measure the wall your window is on before you choose: this is the one decision on this page you cannot change later without shipping it back.
  • Bouclé, not air-mesh. The AP-27 is the one piece in the range covered in a looped bouclé rather than the 3D spacer air-mesh. It is denser, warmer to the touch and quieter in a room. In exchange it wants a little more care than the mesh: vacuum it with the upholstery head rather than a beater bar, and blot spills instead of rubbing them, so the loops stay loops.
  • Two boxes, no freight. 45 and 48 inches long, 15 inches square, about 77 lb each. That is a firm two-handed carry rather than a one-finger job, but it goes up a stairwell and through a 30-inch door, which a ten-foot sofa in one piece does not.
  • 100 days, and colour counts. A screen cannot show you a colour honestly, and bouclé reads differently again under warm light than it does here. If it is not right in your room, that is a valid reason to send it back at our expense.
